I spent a day in London before joining the cruise in Southampton. This is my second time in London and I had limited time, so I decided on two things I have yet to try – Pierre Hermé macarons and Burger & Lobster.

I like the classic flavor, Salted – Butter Caramel the best! The macarons melt quite quickly even when the temperature outside was around 15 degrees. You are recommended to keep at the bottom of the fridge (4 degrees) and brought back to room temperature 30 minutes before serving.

Visit either of these 2 stores to get your sweet fix!

Burger and Lobster

They only have 3 items in their menu – burger, lobster roll and lobster. All meals cost £20 each and there was no service charge! I obviously chose the lobster set.

We ordered both steam and grilled lobster to taste with garlic lemon butter dip. Each set comes with a huge serving of fries and a cup of fresh garden salad. The lobster meat was both tasty and succulent. The burger was alright, nothing special. Anyway, we were lucky to have an uninterrupted dinner at 6pm and there were no queues for dinner as it was a weekday. Visit them on a weekday to avoid the crowd!
